Jane Armstrong Artist

About Jane 

 

Jane studied at the Chelsea College of Art under the tutelage of Enver Gursev and Peter Fleming.

 

She paints at her studio in London and uses oil, acrylic and mixed media.  Her work has been sold to private collectors throughout the UK and internationally. 

 

Local landscapes are a recurring theme in Jane’s work. She has a fascination for the vibrancy of the natural world.  She works across an eclectic mix of subjects, which has influenced her innovative style.

 

Her work straddles various forms of art and style from representational to abstract.   She enjoys experimenting with colour and playing with image distortion in changing light. She works in both 2D and 3D.

 

When Jane is not painting or walking on the local commons she has a love of photography and watching the weeds grow.
